 TM and HM guide
« Thread Started on Feb 25, 2006, 1:28pm »

This is the TM and HM guide, created to clear any confusion about pokemon moves. I hope this helps. :)

Basic Rules of Move-learning
Like I mentioned before in my item guide, pokemon can only learn moves that they are supposed to. Example: a magikarp cannot learn fly, and a pidgey cannot learn surf. It can only learn the HMs and TMs that it can learn in the pokemon GBA games.

You don't know which moves your pokemon can learn and can not learn? Well, follow this link:
http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/pokedex.html
Look up your pokemon. There should be a list of moves, the ones they learn at certain levels, and TM moves and HM moves they can learn.

HMs

[image] HM 01, Cut.
[image] HM 02, Fly.
[image] HM 03, Surf.
[image] HM 04, Strength.
[image] HM 05, Flash.
[image] HM 06, Rock Smash.
[image] HM 07, Waterfall.
[image] HM08, Dive.

In Rihko, HM moves are deletable.
I've always found it to be annoying that HM moves are there forever. In Rihko, you may delete HM moves and replace it with something else.

TMs

[image] TM21, Frustration
[image] TM22, Solarbeam
[image] TM23, Iron Tail
[image] TM24, Thunderbolt
[image] TM25, Thunder
[image] TM26, Earthquake
[image] TM27, Return
[image] TM28, Dig
[image] TM29, Psychic
[image] TM30, Shadow Ball
[image] TM31, Brick Break
[image] TM32, Double Team
[image] TM33, Reflect
[image] TM34, Shock Wave
[image] TM35, Flamethrower
[image] TM36, Sludge Bomb
[image] TM37, Sandstorm
[image] TM38, Fire Blast

[image] TM45, Attract
[image] TM46, Thief

Pokemon may learn 4 moves, and 4 moves only.
It may only learn the TM moves that it's able to though, like I stated above.

And that concludes my HM and TM guide. I hope it was helpful. ^^;
